Peter Lee, DDS, MS- Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Lee is a well-rounded orthodontist whose professional interests extend beyond orthodontics to include other dental specialty topics: crowns and bridges, aesthetics, implants, periodontics, jaw surgery and growth and guidance in children. In 2020, Dr. Lee completed board-certification, also known as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, has been voluntarily examined by his peers on the basis of knowledge and clinical skills. He is well-versed in dental literature, gives lectures periodically, attends continuing education courses regularly, and is knowledgeable about state-of-the-art orthodontic and dental specialty techniques. Routinely, he applies these techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of his treatment. Dr. Lee shares his practice with his wife Dr. Dorothy Pang, who is a pediatric dentist in San Francisco.A native of Malaysia, Dr. Lee grew up in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. He finished high school and college in England. Dr. Lee initially obtained his dental degrees from King’s College London and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Our orthodontist then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to loving his practice and teaching orthodontics, Dr. Lee has many hobbies. He loves movies, music, reading, traveling, and playing a keen game of badminton. He is also an accomplished chef who can cook pasta dishes and a rack of lamb to rival many Italian restaurants. But his true claim to fame among his friends and family are the Malaysian curry, satay, and Hainanese chicken rice!
Dr. Lee is a clinical professor and teaches part-time in the graduate program of orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco.
